Our Story

Come back to yourself

Tailor made journeys and experiences for the soul.

Wellbeing through travels, connections, and the art of slowing down.

A new, intentional approach to travel - blending wellness, cultural immersion, and personalized experiences into journeys designed around how you want to feel.

A path of reconnection and self-discovery - a return to what truly matters.

The art of presence

True luxury is not found in places, but in the experiences that bring you back to yourself.

In a world that moves fast, we create space to slow down - to reconnect, to realign, and to return to yourself.

Each journey is intentionally curated to offer more than an experience - it becomes a moment of pause, a shift in energy, a quiet transformation.

Because what stays with you is never the place, but the way it made you feel.

Reconnection over escape

Disconnect to reconnect.

We don’t believe in running away from life - we believe in returning to yourself. Each journey is designed to reconnect mind, body, and soul.

Our retreats invite you to slow down, feel more, and live each moment fully - synching to the rhythm of the destination you pick.

People before places

People with stories.
At the heart of every journey.

We believe the most memorable journeys are shaped by the people you meet along the way. That’s why we work closely with trusted local families, artisans, guides, and independent partners who open doors to local life - inviting you into the stories, traditions, and everyday moments that make Vietnam so special.

Because the soul of a destination is not found in its landmarks, but in its people. In the warmth of a shared meal, an unexpected encounter, and the moments that allow you to see a place through the eyes of those who call it home.

Through the relationships we have built, we invite you to experience Vietnam from within - through its people, its traditions, and the rhythm of everyday life.

Wellbeing as a way of life

Wellbeing is our purpose.
Wellness is how we help you reach it.

At Soul Journey, we believe feeling better begins with creating space for yourself. Space to slow down, breathe, move, nourish your body, quiet your mind, and simply be present.

Whether through movement, moments of stillness, nourishing food, or restorative experiences, wellness becomes another way to support your wellbeing - physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Our hope is that you return home with more than memories - with a renewed sense of energy, perspective, and wellbeing that continues long after the journey has ended.

Personalization as a standard

No two souls are the same. Neither are our journeys.

Every journey is designed around you - aligned with your rhythm, your needs, and your energy.

Before you can truly switch off, we believe you need to feel understood. That’s why, we take the time to get to know you, build trust, and understand what will make this journey truly yours.

The luxury of letting go

We know how rare it is to have
the freedom to be fully present.

From the moment you arrive, every detail is thoughtfully taken care of, so you can immerse yourself in each moment without having to think about anything else.

We take care of the details so you have the space to focus on what truly matters.

It all started with a feeling.

“My vision is to help people reconnect with themselves through intentional travel, immersive cultural experiences, movement, sports and wellness. More than anything, I want to build a genuine community around shared values.”

Sarah Nguyen-Terrier

Being half French and half Vietnamese, I think I spent most of my life unconsciously searching for my own identity and sense of belonging.

I worked hard for what society teaches us to chase - success, financial freedom, recognition, independence, lifestyle. From the outside, it looked like I had achieved exactly that, at a younger age than most people around me.

But despite achieving beyond what I once imagined for myself, I still felt an emptiness I could not fully explain - as if I had built the life I thought I wanted, yet something essential was still missing.

The more I chased, the more disconnected I became - from myself, from people, and from life itself. Burnout, heartbreaks, emotional exhaustion, toxic professional environments, constant pressure, and self-doubt slowly made me lose confidence, direction, and the ability to truly feel present in my own life.

When the war and instability in the Middle East began, it unexpectedly became the moment that gave me the courage to pause and step away from everything I had built in Dubai. I had this deep feeling that reconnecting with my Vietnamese roots might help me reconnect with myself.

What was initially supposed to be a three-week trip became a much longer journey. And somewhere along the way, something shifted. For the first time in years, I slowed down enough to truly feel things again.

More than discovering Vietnam, I rediscovered myself - as a woman, as a human being, and the kind of life I wanted to live.

I discovered a culture and a way of life so profoundly human that it deeply moved me, and I believe everyone deserves to experience it at least once in their lifetime.

The warmth of the people, the simplicity of everyday moments, the human connection, and the slower rhythm of life made me realize how disconnected modern life had made me from what truly matters.

It is the kind of experience that cannot fully be explained - it has to be lived and felt.

It wasn’t about one destination or one experience, but about a feeling and a perspective that changed me from within.

Having studied hospitality at Les Roches in Switzerland and built my career in Dubai across luxury real estate, investment advisory, and portfolio management, I developed resilience, adaptability, and a deep understanding of highly competitive international markets. Those experiences taught me the importance of attention to detail, trust-based relationships, and creating deeply personalized experiences for demanding global clientele.

But more importantly, they taught me that external success means very little when you no longer feel connected to yourself.

Vietnam gave me a feeling of grounding, clarity, presence, and self-empowerment I didn’t know I had been searching for.

Soul Journey was born from my desire to create a space where I could share that feeling with others.

Not simply to show people Vietnam, but to create the kind of journeys that help people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and return home carrying something far more meaningful than memories. Because sometimes, the most important journey we take isn’t to a new destination - it’s the one that brings us back to ourselves.

“In between movement and meaning”

Vy Le Doan Nguyen

For much of my life, I believed success meant always moving forward. Working harder. Saying yes to every opportunity. Always asking, what’s next?

My career took me across hospitality, consulting, operations, and business development throughout Southeast Asia. Each opportunity led naturally to the next.

Over time, I began to question whether constantly looking ahead had come at the expense of being present.

Travel, quiet reflection, meaningful relationships, and moments of stillness gradually shifted my perspective. I became less interested in doing more, and more intentional about how I lived. I learned that saying no is not a rejection, but a redirection.

As I explored more than 35 countries, from remote wilderness to refined luxury, I noticed the same pattern. Travel, too, had become another pursuit. Too often, it was about seeing more rather than experiencing more. Too fast. Too performative.

In a world that celebrates constant movement, Soul Journey was born from a different belief: that the most meaningful journeys create the space to slow down, reconnect, and ultimately, return to ourselves.
