Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser to remember something about your visit. This page describes the ones Soul Journey uses, what they do, and how you stay in charge of them. It goes with our Privacy Notice, which covers everything else we hold.
What we store by necessity
The site itself sets no cookies to function. When you make a choice in the cookie banner, we keep that choice in your browser’s local storage - a single entry named sj-consent - so we do not ask you again on every visit. It stays on your device, tells us nothing about you, and disappears if you clear your site data.
Analytics cookies, only if you accept
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is read - which pages hold attention, how people arrive. Until you choose “Accept” in the banner, no analytics cookie is set. If you accept, Google Analytics places its measurement cookies (named _ga and similar) for up to fourteen months - the longest Google allows - and then clears them automatically. IP addresses are anonymized, and we use no advertising or social-media cookies at all.
Changing your mind
Your choice is yours to revisit. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes the stored choice, and the banner asks again on your next visit. Declining costs you nothing - the site works exactly the same. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies for any site in their settings, and Google offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics everywhere.
